In 2017 LACNIC Trained More than 4,100 Members of the Community

The LACNIC Training Center provided training for more than 4,100 professionals representing public and private organizations throughout the region on topics such as information security, IPv6 deployment, IPv4 address exhaustion, Internet governance, Border Gateway Protocol and Resource Public Key Infrastructure, and the Internet of Things.

Trainings were offered through LACNIC’s online Campus. Both in-person workshops and online webinars were taught by international experts and professionals.

More than 3,100 people participated in the webinars and in-person workshops, while approximately 1,000 professionals completed our Basic IPv6, Advanced IPv6, BGP and RPKI courses.

IPv6, cybersecurity, and IPv4 exhaustion were the topics in highest demand.
