LACNIC 35 Event to Be Held Online

In coordination with Veracruzana University, the institution hosting our upcoming event, LACNIC has decided that LACNIC 35 will be held online, maintaining the date originally planned for the meeting, 10 to 14 May 2021.

Although we had hoped to meet with the Latin American and Caribbean Internet community face-to-face in Veracruz, Mexico, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forces us to continue prioritizing health and well-being. In this sense, LACNIC understands that the current situation still involves a great deal of uncertainty and that the risks are too high to justify a physical meeting on that date, as stressed by the World Health Organization.

The LACNIC staff is designing improvements to help make LACNIC 35 an even more successful meeting, with new forms of interaction and a renewed agenda that will add greater value to the event.
