Meeting organized in Buenos Aires, Argentina by CITEL (the American Telecommunication Commission) of the Organization of American States. LACNIC is a member of this organization and active on its Permanent Consultative Committee I.

In addition to the regular CCP.I, two days were devoted to a meeting of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), in preparation for the World Conference on International Telecommunications (WCIT) and the World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA) that will meet in Dubai between the months of November and December.

Andrés Piazza, External Relations Officer at LACNIC, participated in that meeting.
