Call for Nominations for the LACNIC Board of Directors

LACNIC has begun the process for renewing two seats on its Board of Directors. To this end, LACNIC’s Electoral Commission has launched an open call for nominations to fill the two vacancies that will be created on 31 December, 2011, when the terms of directors Oscar Messano (Argentina) and Oscar Robles (Mexico) expire.

Candidate nominations will be accepted until 4 October. Each nomination must be presented by a LACNIC member organization through its membership contact.

The actual voting will take place in the month of November through LACNIC’s website; more than 1700 organizations are qualified to vote.

All director positions are honorary and their term of office is three years. For more information, please visit
