By Carolina Badano, Communications Coordinator at LACNIC
Over eight editions and more than 120 presentations by experts from across the region and around the world have positioned the LACNIC Technical Forum as a leading space for the community to share and discuss topics related to Internet development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Held within the framework of the events of the Internet Address Registry for Latin America and the Caribbean, the LACNIC Technical Forum brings together more than 600 in-person attendees, including telecommunications professionals, network operators, academics, and ISPs, with hundreds more joining remotely. These numbers make the Forum an ideal platform to showcase your work and create valuable networking opportunities.

The ninth edition of the LACNIC Technical Forum will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico, as part of LACNIC 45, and the call for presentations will remain open until 8 February.
What topics can be presented at the Forum? The most recent meeting was held in São Paulo, Brazil, where leading experts presented on topics such as hidden chatbot vulnerabilities, routing optimization for 464XLAT, SD-WAN and cybersecurity, as well as the use of AI in DNS analysis.
