LACNIC XVIII Renowned Internet Experts Confirm their Participation at the Montevideo Meeting

Montevideo is preparing to welcome the Internet leaders and experts that will visit Uruguay to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry, LACNIC, which is headquartered in the Uruguayan capital.
Among other prominent personalities from the Internet world, Vinton Cerf (Vice-President and Chief Internet Evangelist at Google), Steve Crocker (Chair of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), Lynn St. Amour (President of the Internet Society), Marcos Galperín (CEO at MercadoLibre) and Patrik Fältstrom (Chair of ICANN’s Security and Stability Advisory Committee), have confirmed their presence at the event, which will take place in the city of Montevideo from 28 October to 1st November.
Together with other Latin American and Caribbean professionals, these experts will participate in the various forums, workshops and meetings that have been scheduled for the five day event.
