“LibreBus” at the Internet Hub

As part of an 8000 km tour across four countries including Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay, LibreBus, an initiative promoting dialogue among different free culture and free software communities, visited the Internet Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean.

LibreBus activists stopped by the Internet Hub during their visit to Montevideo in early September to talk about their projects for promoting free culture and knowledge as a common good (http://librebus.org/).

The LibreBus project is funded by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency. Beginning in May 2011, thirteen free culture activists toured Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, working on four main topics: free knowledge and biodiversity, free software, freedom to share, and freedom of expression.
