Graciela Martínez
Graciela Martinez has a degree in Computer Engineering from the School of Engineering of Universidad de la Republica and a Diploma in Telecommunications and Networks from ORT University, both in Uruguay.
She is currently Head of LACNIC CSIRT, the team tasked with coordinating the services needed to reinforce computer security incident response capabilities in case of incidents involving Latin American and Caribbean Internet resources.
In addition, she coordinates IT security conferences and training courses for the purpose of disseminating technical knowledge on how to manage security incidents and strengthening trust among the regional community as well as with other international technical communities.
Graciela has more than 25 years of experience in IT, more than 15 of which have been dedicated to activities related to computer security and its dissemination, both within the Latin American and Caribbean CSIRT community and with other international Internet security communities.
In 2025 she was elected as a member of the FIRST board.
