A tal ponto que o Bind e Unbound j\u00e1 avan\u00e7aram com suas primeiras implementa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/em> Alejandro Acosta Coordenador de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento do LACNIC<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Com a crescente implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de redes IPv6, surgiu um desafio: algumas zonas DNS s\u00e3o atendidas*** exclusivamente por servidores autoritativos s\u00f3 IPv4. Isso pode causar problemas para os resolvedores iterativos s\u00f3 IPv6 que n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso a uma rede IPv4, resultando na impossibilidade de resolver todas as zonas DNS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na recente confer\u00eancia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dns-oarc.net\/oarc39\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DNS-OARC 39<\/a>, Toyota Yasunobu e eu <a href=\"https:\/\/indico.dns-oarc.net\/event\/44\/contributions\/958\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apresentamos uma pesquisa<\/a> sobre esse assunto. Discutimos como a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de redes IPv6 de pilha \u00fanica com um servi\u00e7o NAT64 pode ser facilitada usando um resolvedor com suporte exclusivo para IPv6 que usa NAT64. Neste artigo resumimos os pontos principais da nossa apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o e explicamos como os resolvedores podem ter &#8220;suporte exclusivo para IPv6&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NAT64 \u00e9 uma tecnologia que permite que as redes s\u00f3 IPv6 se comuniquem com servidores s\u00f3 IPv4. Transforma endere\u00e7os IPv4 em endere\u00e7os IPv6 e vice-versa, usando um formato especial chamado \u2018IPv4-Embedded IPv6 Address Format\u2019 descrito na <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rfc-editor.org\/rfc\/rfc6052\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RFC 6052<\/a>. Isso permite que dispositivos s\u00f3 IPv6 se comuniquem com servidores s\u00f3 IPv4 por meio do servi\u00e7o NAT64 na rede (para obter mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es, consulte a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rfc-editor.org\/rfc\/rfc6146\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RFC 6146<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na medida em que a ado\u00e7\u00e3o do IPv6 continua crescendo, a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de redes s\u00f3 IPv6 est\u00e1 se tornando cada vez mais difundida. No entanto, a transi\u00e7\u00e3o para uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00f3 IPv6 apresenta desafios espec\u00edficos, um dos quais \u00e9 que algumas zonas DNS s\u00e3o atendidas exclusivamente por servidores autoritativos s\u00f3 IPv4. No entanto, o n\u00famero de redes s\u00f3 IPv6 est\u00e1 crescendo, e as redes s\u00f3 IPv6 que desejam minimizar o uso de endere\u00e7os IPv4 apenas para dispositivos NAT64 podem querer que o resolvedor iterativo seja s\u00f3 IPv6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"\n    padding: 10px;\n    background: azure;\n\">Leia tamb&eacute;m: <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3QdRLRM\">Governo, teles e universidades s&atilde;o agentes fundamentais para implementa&ccedil;&atilde;o do IPv6<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 esquerda na Figura 3 h\u00e1 um exemplo de resolvedores iterativos atuais com um endere\u00e7o IPv4. \u00c0 direita vemos um resolvedor iterativo dentro da rede s\u00f3 IPv6 sem um endere\u00e7o IPv4; esta \u00e9 a topologia que queremos alcan\u00e7ar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"357\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6-1024x357.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22265\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6-1024x357.png 1024w, https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6-300x104.png 300w, https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6-768x267.png 768w, https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6-1536x535.png 1536w, https:\/\/blog.lacnic.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fig3-adopcion-de-ipv6-y-los-desafios-de-los-resolvedores-iterativos-solo-ipv6.png 1826w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Figura 3: Topologia de rede que queremos alcan\u00e7ar, em que o resolvedor est\u00e1 dentro da rede s\u00f3 IPv6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para entender quantos resolvedores iterativos s\u00f3 IPv6 t\u00eam problemas para resolver nomes de dom\u00ednio, fizemos um pequeno experimento no qual tentamos resolver registros A para os 100.000 dom\u00ednios principais classificados na <a href=\"https:\/\/tranco-list.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lista Tranco<\/a> usando tanto um resolvedor s\u00f3 IPv4 quanto um resolvedor s\u00f3 IPv6. Os resultados revelaram que o resolvedor s\u00f3 IPv4 conseguiu resolver com sucesso 99,5% dos dom\u00ednios, enquanto o resolvedor s\u00f3 IPv6 conseguiu resolver apenas 71,7% dos dom\u00ednios. Esta diferen\u00e7a importante destaca os desafios impostos pelos resolvedores iterativos s\u00f3 IPv6 e a necessidade de uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o para esse problema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>&nbsp;<\/td><td>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de registros A<\/td><td>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de registros AAAA<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o com IPv4<\/td><td>0,5&nbsp;%<\/td><td>0,6&nbsp;%<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Resolu\u00e7\u00e3o com IPv6<\/td><td>28,3&nbsp;%<\/td><td>28,1&nbsp;%<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tabela 1: A porcentagem de resolvedores iterativos que n\u00e3o conseguem resolver dom\u00ednios, dos <a href=\"https:\/\/tranco-list.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">100&nbsp;000 principais da lista de Tranco<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Propomos que uma poss\u00edvel solu\u00e7\u00e3o para este problema \u00e9 um resolvedor iterativo s\u00f3 IPv6 que use NAT64. Nos casos em que esse resolvedor encontra apenas um registro A para o servidor autoritativo, este realiza a s\u00edntese de endere\u00e7os para converter o endere\u00e7o IPv4 do servidor em um endere\u00e7o IPv6. Ao enviar pacotes IPv6 com o endere\u00e7o de destino definido para o endere\u00e7o IPv6 sintetizado, o resolvedor iterativo pode iniciar a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o com os servidores autoritativos s\u00f3 IPv4 usando NAT64 na rede. Apresentamos o rascunho ao grupo de trabalho v6ops durante o IETF 115 e recebemos coment\u00e1rios positivos por meio da lista de correio. Tamb\u00e9m h\u00e1 implementa\u00e7\u00f5es de um resolvedor iterativo s\u00f3 IPv6 que usa NAT64 tanto no <a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.isc.org\/isc-projects\/bind9\/-\/merge_requests\/6334\/commits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BIND<\/a> quanto no <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/NLnetLabs\/unbound\/pull\/722\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unbound<\/a>. No entanto, estas est\u00e3o atualmente na forma de pedido de extra\u00e7\u00e3o (<em>Pull Request<\/em> ou PR) e ainda n\u00e3o foram incorporadas \u00e0 linha principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Em conclus\u00e3o, a implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de redes s\u00f3 IPv6 est\u00e1 em andamento, mas o desafio representado pelos resolvedores iterativos s\u00f3 IPv6 precisa ser enfrentado para facilitar o bom funcionamento dessas redes. Esse desafio pode ser superado utilizando um resolvedor iterativo s\u00f3 IPv6 que use NAT64, e as redes s\u00f3 IPv6 podem operar com um resolvedor iterativo em funcionamento.
