Security Tutorial at LACNIC 38
24/08/2022
LACNIC will offer its members a tutorial on computer security during the LACNIC 38 event that will be held from 3 to 7 October in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
Led by LACNIC CSIRT experts, this tutorial will provide participants with definitions of what a computer security incident response center is, how cyberattacks are managed, and how different regional teams can cooperate with the community in maintaining common alerts and dealing with potential incidents.
During the training organized for members in Santa Cruz, LACNIC CSIRT will present the operation of the MiLACNIC Security Module, where members can find information on the resources involved in computer security incidents. Participants will work interactively to analyze this data and learn how identified threats can be corrected based on this information.
The Security Tutorial will take place on Monday, 3 October from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. (local time).
For more information on all the tutorials that will be offered during LACNIC 38, we invite you to check out the event agenda: https://www.lacnic.net/6378/70/evento/agenda
